Operational lifespan for Mitsubishi Electric cubes tops 130k hours

Mitsubishi Electric has announced that the operational lifespan of its WE120 DLP cube engine has been increased to an astonishing 130,000 hours, or nearly 15 years of continuous 24/7 operation in all brightness modes, topping the previous industry record of 100,000 hours – already held by Mitsubishi’s WE120 – by nearly 30%.

Mitsubishi Electric direct view LED commands attention

Direct view LED takes a commanding position on the Mitsubishi Electric booth at ISE 2018. Visitors to Hall 2 will be greeted with a massive 11m x 1.6m control room display simulation built using Mitsubishi’s latest display technology, narrow pixel pitch (NPP) LED. The display will be the largest system of its kind yet seen in public.

New native IP-based control room visualization software

Mitsubishi adds direct view LED to display line-up

Mitsubishi Electric has announced that the production model of its direct view narrow pixel pitch (NPP) LED screen is now available for shipping. TOKYO, November 18, 2014 – Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (TOKYO: 6503) announced today that it will unveil a Diamond Vision display at 1535 Broadway in New York City’s iconic Times Square that exceeds 4k ultra-high-definition pixel density. The screen is a massive 25,610-square feet, and with a pixel density of 2,368 x 10,048, it will be the highest resolution LED video display in the world.
